Hot Summer Nights

Brantford – August 3, 2018: Last night marked the first “Hot Summer Nights” event from the Brantford Fire Department and it was a great night for both families and firefighters at Holmedale Park here in the City of Brantford.

There are still four more events coming up to give you and your family a chance to chill out with Brantford firefighters while they provide an opportunity to tour the fire trucks and cool down from the summer heat with a run through fire truck sprinklers, all while getting educated on fire safety.

Firefighters will be providing free freezies donated by Kisko and will have water available thanks to The Water Depot (on a first-come-first-served basis)

All events run Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. during the month of August, weather permitting.

August 9th - Tutela Park, 135 Erie Ave
August 16th - Charlie Ward Park, 220 Darling St.
August 23rd - Parsons Park, 160 Ontario St.
August 30th - Princess Anne Park, 17 Helen Ave

If any of the above dates are cancelled, a notice will be posted on Twitter: @brantfordfire.
