The following qualifications are required to apply for a position with the Brantford Fire Department. The Brantford Fire Department reserves the right to revise or make changes to the list of basic requirements as needed.
- Proof of grade 12 diploma or equivalent as approved by the Ministry of Education
- Ability to verbally communicate in the English language
- Completion and submission of the Municipality's application form and a resume
- Valid driver's license to operate a vehicle in Ontario without supervision
- Documented evidence of current CPR and First Aid Certificates, or proof of enrollment
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Able to meet medical and physical standards required for this position
